Job Summary
The World Resources Institute Beijing Representative Office is looking for one highly self motivated student to be an intern at the Research, Data & Impact (RDI) team. As an RDI intern, you will help provide research, data collection and analysis, and administrative support to the RDI team in China. The intern will support several interdisciplinary and multi-group research projects in the WRI China office. The intern is required to work for at least three days a week and the term is at least three months. The internship will mostly be remote.

1. Research & Analysis (85%)
Collect, edit, analyze, and inspect geographic information data using Python, QGIS, and ArcGIS.
Search for geospatial data and other statistical data to support environmental research.
Conduct literature review on academic papers.

Qualifications
Enrolled undergraduate (at least Junior) or graduate student toward a degree in environment, GIS, remote sensing, computer science, or other related majors.
Programming experience in Python and GIS Software experience such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth Engine.
